Bombardier sold 11.5 million shares of Alstom SA

On May 4th local time,The biggest transportation equipment manufacturer Bombardier ,with its headquarter located in Montreal,Canada made a statement,the company will sell 11.5 million shares of France's Alstom SA which it hold.
This January,Bombardier has sold its rail equipment business to Alstom,it has got 630 million of Alstom SA’s share.
According to the agreement,these shares are not available for sale until this May.Now Bombardier has changed these shares into capitals.Which means,Bombardier has completely abandon its 50-year-old rail equipment business.
Bombardier’s CFO Bart Demosky once expressed for its investor in this March,the company has 400 million euros (about $480 million) in bonds to repay.Bombardier has to sell the rail equipment business to repay the debts.
Bombardier's operations once spanned manufacturing of aviation, rail and urban mass transit equipment,It was once a rival to Boeing of the United States.But in recent years,the company was badly run and in debt,and has to sell off its business in succession.Till now ,this company only keep business jet manufacturing business,the object customers are the millionaires who want to buy private plane.
