CRRC sent a letter to Mexico president ,demanding for more fair and transparent bidding process for Mayan railway .

• On May 7,2021,only ALSTOM and CAF two companies participated into bidding on Mexico Mayan rail trains and signal communication system and other bids.Finally , a consortium  /kənˈsɔːrtiəm/comprising CRRC,THALES,Mexico COCOME and AMD ultimately  decided not to participate the bidding ,for it looked that the bidding terms were obviously advantage to ALSTOM and CAF.

• According to this ,the subsidiary company of CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Co.,LTD. Which charges for bid wrote to Mexico president,Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and tendering units,hoping no restriction of different country’s company for the bid,Thus all bidding companies will be in the same bid evaluation level.In addition,CRRC Zhuzhou Electric also express its interesting on establish local vehicle plant in Mexico.

• CRRC Zhuzhou Electric is the  winner of the bidding in Mexico city subway line 1 upgrading project.It also offer the latest subway train,and the train supplier of Mexico  Tikat Tijuana Intercity Railway Project.

The only bidder of Mayan railway train--Alstom and CAF were involved in the latest overpass collapsing of Mexico city subway line 12 which led to an accident of 29 passengers ‘s death.

Mexico National Fund for Tourism Development expects to launch an  international public tender in the second half of 2020 to purchase new trains.

After market investigation of the train manufacturer,National Fund for Tourism Development officially opened the bidding process with project ＄7.5billion dollars.Purchasing for 43 sets of modern trains in the first stage (and 27 sets added for choice),signal system,communication system,and depot equipment as well.the restriction time for bidding is until Dec,6,2020.

Swiss Stadler,Spanish CAF and France ALSTOM hope the purchasing process of the project can be extend.The public bidding committee refused the bidding extending application from the mentioned company,the final bidding confirmation date was on May 7,and the announced award of the bid will be maintained until May 26.
