• In September 2020,Bucharest, Romania sent a ¡°Bid evaluation results of 100 trams procurement project¡±,China-Romania joint bidding had been the bid-winner for the project,and will be informed when the contract will be signed.Project order value 840.88m lei (US $207m)

• In March 2021,the municipal government announced to have meeting with Chinese Romanian Enterprise Consortium,discussing the concerning issues in the contract-re negotiation the purchase price.

On May 11 local time,the mayor of Bucharest signed an official tram purchasing order with the consortium

Background of the item: December 2018

Municipal of Bucharest published a project tender ,total purchase for 100 sets trams length for 36m,valuing 846.8m lei(about €180 million ).Early in September 2019, Bucharest city,Romania public bidding committee had gone through the participant ¡®s technical solution,and started the financial proposal assessment.There were total 2 international companies in the competition£ºCRRC and Romania Astra; Durmazlar Turkey.

In October 2019,Released from Turkey media:in purchase project of 100 sets trams organized by Bucharest municipal, Romania ,Turkey train manufacturer led the way of each items,officially win the bidder.

November 2019,CRRC consortium lodged an objection with Romania's National Complaints Settlement Commission,the reason was Turkey train manufacturer ¡®s tender solution didn¡¯t meet to the bid¡¯s requirement,and part of the bidder documents were not transparent.

In December 2019,Romania's National Complaints Settlement Commission decided to accept the objection which raised by CRRC consortium about Turkey DURMAZLAR ¡®s bid solution for the tender proposal of 100 sets trams organized by Bucharest municipal ,Romania,meanwhile,they request Bucharest municipal to cancel the bid evaluation result and notification of the ward.

In July 2020,in purchase project of 100 sets trams organized by Bucharest municipal, Romania ,the public bidding committee finished the assessment of technical project,CRRC,-Astra ,Romania consortium got the first rank with the score of 100.
